Every discovery seems to be many light years away. Fortunately for earth, this all took place long ago and far away.
What affords earth to be this lucky? Our share of cosmic mayhem has been light throughout our planet's history compared to what is witnessed every day in the heavens.
Why does it seem that observation brings destiny? As if we have seen too much. We're running out of luck, and to me it's palpable.

So, my question for this article is: Once the Magnetar has ripped itself in half with these powerful plasma blades: What is left of the Magnetar? Does it go through a Super Novae phase and explode and self destruct? (Then creating thee most powerful GRB) Or, do we end up with two Magnetars, or two Black Holes? A maybe super-magnetic White Dwarf Magnetron?
