Wow, imagine that, stimulating the thalamus to wake them up. Convenient that a brain structure that connects, relays, and transmits signals to the rest of the brain would do such a thing.

Amazing. I just hate the thought of using helpless animals. I joined PETA for the unspeakable cruelties unleashed on animals. Lab animals live horrible lives. Could humans not volunteer for this?
