VERY VERY INTERESTING OBSERVATION AND DATA FOR MARINE BIOLOGISTS. THE PRESENCE OF SUCH HIGH TEMPERATURES AND FORMATIONS OF SLAG PROJECTIONS IS A CLEAR EVIDENCE OF GEOCENTRIC HYDROTHERMAL ACTIVITY PROBABLY A CAUSE FOR CATASTROPHIC SUNAMEES. FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS FOR THE PRESENCE OF LIFE FORMS LIKE VIRUS AND THERMO BACTERIA AS IN HOT SPRINGS OF JAPAN etc. WILL THROUGH OPEN THE POSSIBLE DISCOVERY OF MISSING EVIDENCES IN SUPPORT OF PROGRESSIVE EVOLUTION APART FROM OPENING NEW DIMENSIONS ON THERMAL TOLERANCE OF THE PROKARIOTIC GENOME.

Can those giant sea worms live in or near these towers, or would it be too hot for them to survive? Just wondering, because I really like those worms.

I wonder how much carbon dioxide is produced in these degassing processes. Clearly they have been going on for millions of years and are a major source of atmospheric CO2 after being cycled through deep ocean currents for a few thousand years. No global warmist will discuss the magnitude of these processes. It needs to be confronted as the mass of CO2 from deep ocean degassing would certainly be significant albeit unknown as this discovery shows. The amount of such activity in the 'Ring Of Fire' must be very large indeed.
