It probably will NOT be visible to the naked eye. Yes the predicted magnitude is naked eye range, but the comet then will be very close to the sun, only 12 degrees away, and very close to the horizon. At the time of the article, it was possible that the comet could be extra solar, but orbit refinements have shown this not to be the case.
