The same scientist claims that the Jurchen Jin people are from northeast China! A people from northeast China, who are not from China?! What preposterous! Many European-born inventors who moved to the USA in the 19th and 20th centuries are described by Americans as ‘American inventors’, and no one seems to have a problem with that. But if China does something similar, sinophobes will immediately complain, as they love to denigrate everything China does. According to the subtle logic of this ‘scientist’ from Ireland, English should not be recognized as a language of Ireland since it is a language originated in England; and the pre-Columbian people of the Americas could not be called ‘native Americans’ either since their genetics are proven to be Asian; and the scientist should not be considered Irish, since her surname is of German origin. ‘Scientists’ should militate less and inform more impartially.
