Astronomers using the James Webb Space Telescope have detected the oldest "dead" galaxy ever observed, at just 700 million years after the Big Bang. The stalled-out relic defies explanation by our current knowledge of the early cosmos.

It is my belief that when the big bang happened, not all the mater in the Universe was confined to the big bang. There was a lot of other galaxies, and stars around before the big bang. Maybe they have found one of these survivor Galaxies.
