It's so sad watching women, such as this writer, try to rewrite their own history. A woman buried with a mirror couldn't possibly be that women have always payed closer to attention to vanity than men right? Wrong. The reason for your rewriting of your own history is because that narrative doesn't promote ashamedly feminist views.

Are there any men buried with mirrors? That would show if carrying a mirror was common, happened before or whether its sensible to draw comparisons to women of today which it most likely is. Why haven't you drawn this comparison before concluding woke ideologies?

Don't be ashamed to be a woman. Be ashamed of erasing your own history and culture.

The author isn't rewriting anything. Those are the theories of the archeologists she was paraphrasing. Take it up with them. There is a link to the paper in the article.
