In a 1st, NASA's Perseverance rover makes breathable oxygen on Mars

Minus 80 degrees, almost no atmosphere, constantly bombarded with cancer-causing cosmic rays, and no surface water. Terraforming Mars is an impossible task, yet we continue to spend billions in feeble attempts to pretend it is possible. Here at home, the govt. and scientific community are standing back and watching the rapid deterioration of our atmosphere due to the needs for Big Business to make money, instead of doing more to stem what is looked at as inevitable. All our problems on earth are due to over-population brought on by efficient farming and the mass production of food. Now we number 8 billion and counting, and Mars will never be our new home after we have finished trashing this one.
