According to Russian weather service, it's -31 degrees fahrenheit in Siberia right now and feels like -45. When I googled the temp there, Google forgot the minus before the temp.

Details are important.

how unusual considering it's between -20°C and -30°C in that part of Russia. I didn't realise bears needed it be colder than that.
"The struggles of bears in the Amur River region — an area encompassing Russia’s Khabarovsk, Amur and Jewish autonomous regions — followed abnormally high average temperatures in October that exceeded the norm by 1.5-2.0 C. The city of Blagoveshchensk experienced its warmest October on record, the Phobos weather center said." - https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023...nate-amid-abnormally-high-temperatures-a83168

are you sure you're not just making up the "facts" for this porky? Interesting you chose to use the word "hot" to describe -30°C. How much are you being paid to write these works of fiction.
how much are you being paid to be a shill for fossil fuel companies? ;) Or are you doing this work for free?

Bears experience torpor instead of hibernation where they can wake up easier in times where they need to avoid danger or to feed. Females go into caves or dens to have cubs and nurse through torpor then emerge with her cubs the following year.
