....dont be too certain of it, since technically viruses cannot be described as being "living things" they really can't become "extinct" in the way that we usually use that term. Perhaps they've been "put to dormancy" and seemingly are nowhere to be found as of this given hour, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're all gone forever. Hopefully we won't find out anytime real soon.
