It appears the discovery of ancient seamounts worldwide, is accumulating rapidly with the technological advances oceanographers use to uncover these behemoths.
The additions to our knowledge seem to conclude that there doesn't necessarily have to be a plethora of theories to explain climate changes and even extinctions on earth.
There is enough here to provide ample means of cataclysmic events throughout this planet's history.
