Would it be quicker to gather data or communications by using a screen on a probe and looking through a telescope to read the screen. Now I know the light from the screen has to have time to reach earth. But would it be quicker than waiting for a laser beam to reach earth. Keep a telescope on the screen at all times so it would be a constant stream of data no matter how far it goes into space?
