Seei of course do not suggest replacement of propofol witth barbiturate; only of the mediazolam. Higher dosage of barbiturate is associated with increased risk of infection, whereas replacement of the anxiolytic merely produces a helpful mild Cytochrome P 450 2D6 promotion which enhanced survival. The dexamethasone replacing Prednisone in treatment of COVID is a dead on hit. It is unquestionably the way to go.
