What is the Fermi Paradox?

So, we discover/locate extraterrestrial intelligent alien life, then the really big and important question arises. "Do we exploit them or they us or can we cooperate? Until such event, back on Earth, the SETI programs and exoplanet hunting programs are providing meaningful work for scientists, new sundry consumer products for corporations, and potentially frightful weapons for governments. To put the daunting probability of our evolution into perspective, I recommend reviewing how we evolved through the periods of Earth's successive extinctions. IMO, we are one randomly fortunate species, and there just isn't any other alien species like us, physically or intellectually.

It's only a paradox if you believe life came from the non-living. Life is not nature. It is super nature.

Being only here, proves life is not natural. If it came from nature, it would be all over the place. We have many life forms that do not require a goldie locks condition.....here on earth. We just doubled our known bio mass here. And have no clue as to how they fit in. Many are found with just DNA, and have never been seen or studied.

So, with the way we know life to be(tenacious), and with the time involved, and the variety and area of environment of other worlds........it would be everywhere.

This obvious fact frightens a lot of people. Even to think and ponder this. That's the true paradox.
