The Village Economy: a better

The most civilized economy is that which complements ecology. Mass manufactures molests it.

The only gift one can leave to posterity is better ground for ecology. Mass manufactures give plastic and concrete and chemical.

The economy that is too advanced to respect the natural order ought to be protested vehemently. Will you love them? The children are hurt. Cease hatred.

An economy, any economy, provides a means of exchanging goods and services which are mutually wanted/needed by people. To the degree that can be done determines the well being of individuals, societies and nations. Ecology is an element in the matrix that supports the current lifeforms existing on Earth. The demands of economic sufficiency impact our support matrix in detrimentally direct proportion to human population growth. The solution to this problem is difficult to say the least.

Not really. When a few people prioritize ecology--chiefly; ecology and economy take care of themselves. In the day that a household officiates a garden economy; resisting, disowning commerce, that garden inherits dominion over the creatures and over the earth. It's a presupposition.

Ecology assumes an ecological system, as does economy, an economic system. If an economic system adulterates an ecology, for the sake of an economic system, the saying holds true, "the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil."

The reasons for a global, expanding economy or a national economy whether capitalist, socialist or cooperative is simply to provide a better living standard, and a longer life span for the humans in whatever economic system. Money (with some perceived and accepted value) is just the medium of exchange for goods, services and taxes. If one wants to have a house or anything else, money and credit are needed and/or one has to build or get the desired item(s) by personal toil. OK for some things, but not for the doctor, the church collection plate or the tax man. AND this fact is salient . If the ecology/ environment is harmed/degraded/destroyed, an economy will fail in corresponding degrees. Thus humans will suffer/resort to violence to secure sustenance or have to appeal to charity. Sadly, the necessary balance between the environment/ecology and sundry economies may be nearly impossible to achieve today with the exception of self-contained "units" which mimic the 18th century. N.B.: I perceive no intentional evil(s) in an economy, just a worrisome, destructive trend in humanity's doing what evolution set in motion.

So you made up a quote for your signature?
Are you referring to my signature for this board, where I said:

"Nature always being of a higher order than science, so too is the principle of natural discovery." --a prophet said it.

If this is your reference, and you're asking for justification, then yes, this signature was inspired by the same spirit, by whom the prophets of Scripture did write. But I'm no prophet; I read as these prophets read; and I do the same things.

Folks the salient fact is that a sustainable balance between human economies and the Earth's environment is necessary and currently lacking. Nature/Evolution doesn't care if humans have to live as in the 17th and 18th centuries or simply keep on operating until suffering the consequences of resource exhaustion. Extinction is the fate of all species, sooner or later. Hopefully, H. Sapiens will find/develop a methodology to make it later. I have neither answers nor viable theories to this issue.

The only balance is reversion to methods kinder to the environment. Our having done opposite is the sole reason there's an appearance of shortages. The earth does most the work for humans if we treat it as a garden, by handling it with bare hands; by being towards, handling it with bare hands. As long as people excuse plastic, concrete and chemical, for God knows what next reason, the third generation of our so called production will still be that--waste materials. The preference of people seems to be to shifting to landfill habitations.

Extinction of species is a pretense.
