Thanks for commenting! Chernobyl and Pripyat are both cities, though Pripyat is closer to the power plant. In this case, the measurement we're referring to was taken in the city of Chernobyl.

for the sake of accurate reporting, it is actually called "Vladimir Ilyich Lenin Nuclear Power Plant"
is it really that hard to open a wikipedia page or does ego really take that much of precedence over curiosity/intelect ?
