Part-human, part-monkey embryos grown in lab dishes

It's nice to be the King. Now it seems that it's the nicest to be God. Such human-monkey research and experimentation has the significant probability of becoming the "slippery slope" that codifies the abuse of and cruelty to both humans and animals. I can understand the goal of genetic amelioration of specific human disease conditions by human embryo experiments. However, mixing embryo species raises the gut wrenching recognition that less than 0.25 million year old H. Sapiens is in no way a competitor or a match for 4.5 billion years of Evolution. The unanticipated consequences could be enormous beyond even science fiction.
