No it doesn't. It means that "The take-home message is that the magma chamber is" ~8% more molten than they thought. If "more solid" means less likelihood of eruption, then more molten means more likelihood of eruption. And while the likelihood of eruption is still vanishingly small, for a scientist to publish a conclusion exactly opposite to new data, likely in order to reduce "fears", is complete BS.
