If we condense moisture from outside air with an AC evaporator, would the water have the same levels as rain water?
I had read that rain drops need a dust seed or other matter to condense and form drops in the air. So, a lot of contaminates might come from seed matter.
Condensing water from air with a low temp surface, should avoid this. There are cheap passive ways to do this now. Fresh water for drinking should not be a problem anywhere.
Even the ancients knew that rain water had to be filtered. They used sand and clay.
Only a spring or a well provides clean raw water. I would think condense air moisture might be a close second.
