I don't know about dehumidifier but I had a landlord in Texas that had a rubber tree next to dead and she set it outside under a window unit air conditioner.The condensation from the air conditioner dripped onto it.Well it not only came back to life but it acted like it was getting super miracle grow and shot up like 3ft tall in like 2 months.
