This seems a really interesting and entertaining plot for a sci-fi movie with follow-on TV series. Sadly, the "Ring around Ceres" concept sounds like the Earth based Agenda 21 proposal which is more realistic, more probable and more frightening. Somehow, I can't even begin to imagine how humans could live cooperatively and peacefully crammed together in either a floating space pod or an Agenda 21 camp. Hopefully, we can do better than both concepts here on Earth in the same time frame. Hopefully?
