I wonder how much carbon dioxide is produced in these degassing processes. Clearly they have been going on for millions of years and are a major source of atmospheric CO2 after being cycled through deep ocean currents for a few thousand years. No global warmist will discuss the magnitude of these processes. It needs to be confronted as the mass of CO2 from deep ocean degassing would certainly be significant albeit unknown as this discovery shows. The amount of such activity in the 'Ring Of Fire' must be very large indeed.
