‘Half the matter in the universe was missing. Scientists just found it hiding in the cosmos.’
Remnants of the conditions in the early universe, like cosmic microwave background radiation, gave scientists a precise measure of the universe’s mass in baryons. (Image credit: ESA and the Planck Collaboration)

What am I looking at? It appears to be at an edge of an object, looking inward. Why is it oval shaped? If it were remnants of the ‘big bang,’ wouldn’t it be dispersed as a circular object? Or is it because this object is a conjecture of a present state? What is the bright horizontal line? If that horizontal line represents expansion of time from the center outwards, wouldn’t it be at a 360-degree pattern at the time of the big bang? Did gravity pull the sphere in to an oval after some time passed? Was the cosmic egg a perfect sphere? Did gravity exist before the forming of the cosmic egg? And what relationship did electrical forces have, the plus and the minus? If gravity and electrical forces didn’t exist before the big bang, what created or how was the comic egg formed?

it’s oval/egg shaped because of the map projection they use. That’s the only reason why.
