How is it possible that the tilt in Earth's crust would not have resulted in any drastic changes to major ecosystems?

So the cold north point of the earth would be below the Bering straights, south of present day Alaska?

Wouldn't all the longitude and latitudinal lines be rewritten for the new equator that would pass through the Himalayas?

Why wouldn't the seasons be heavily exaggerated and the new equatorial regions have similar warm stable heat?
Why wouldn't the north pole centered ice sheets migrate toward Alaska etc?
