At the very end of the article, the comment was made that the difference between the two measures of clumpiness were different by only 2.3 standard deviations, which meant that if the measurements were done 100 times, a value this large or larger would occur 98 times. Actually, that's exactly backwards. What it really means is that a difference that large or SMALLER would occur 98 times. Only two times would a value that large or larger occur. Someone didn't proofread carefully enough.
