That's a great discovery. If someone can fashion a drug to turn off that signal, then less antibiotic would be needed to kill off all of the unwanted bacteria.

How about wondering whether viruses 'communicate' in a similar manner, let alone in their goings-on, hence the incomprehended evolutionary factor of Covid. The latter came to mind months ago and I told my mom about it. Mentioned it again the other night with respect to this article.

Curiously, I missed this here, seeing it at Futurism early in the week, though I had an idea of bringing up the idea and had vacillated due to seeing it elsewhere.....
