After 3.5 million-year hiatus, the largest comet ever discovered is headed our way

OK Now! Just to be paranoid on a beautiful Autumn morning in 2021, It occurs to me that right now is the time to prepare for the so far remote chance that this massive comet might, just might, get re-directed towards hitting Earth. Shouldn't we start to have in-place the ability the "shoot this sucker" either into smithereens or into a different orbit away from Earth. What the heck! We have the nuclear fire power, and technologies to do so. Why not build the launch capability, and be able to watch this comet with "our finger on the trigger"? The alternative to preparatory inaction could be an "Oh Crap!!!!!!!!" moment last experienced at the abrupt end of the Cretaceous period.
