Possibly four hostile alien civilizations seems a very low estimate. We humans don't even like each other based upon our common humanity. If any space aliens are similar to us and could get to Earth, hostility, prejudice, and violence would be the norm from both sides. Perhaps it's a "good thing" that the distances between galaxies is so vast and that there is a cosmic speed limit.
