What is a living individual and is it naturally universally mobile?

I think once we are all carbon dust, wherever we may be, our atoms will react and combine with what’s out there and evolve into whatever that produces. It’s a weird picture of heaven, but our atoms, being indestructible, will be doing what they’ve always done. Excited electrons looking for those...

NASA Confirms Thousands of Massive, Ancient Volcanic Eruptions on Mars

I love reading the geology in this post. It makes me wonder about the solar system when it was brand new. It was one hot on-fire metal (and other elements) conglomeration at one time. I can almost picture the flying debris, all rotating and cooling, etc. I love imagining what all of that looked...

Question A Missing Link?! Birds arose from theropods? Where are the featherless fossil intermediates?

Why aren’t we looking at Ichthyornis dispar or other feathered dinosaur bones that have been found, like in northeastern China?

    Black hole life span?

I wonder if our universe didn’t originate from one huge black hole 13.8 billion years ago because every element created has got to be in a black hole. And the gravity of a black hole seems to be able to devour any and everything. Like some gigantic space cycle. The Hoover of the universe, then...

    Black hole life span?

What eventually happens to black holes? Every galaxy has at least one in the center, and they seem to be plentiful in space. Do they just keep devouring matter forever and ever? It doesn’t seem plausible that they could eventually eat up everything in the universe.

    Lost Continent

Part of California is on the North American plate and the western side is on the Pacific plate. One plate moves north and the other moves south.

    Boundary lines?

Thank you. That gives me a greater understanding. As to the Far East, that to me would mean Japan and China, Vietnam, Laos.

    Boundary lines?

Where are the boundary lines between the Near East, Middle East, and Far East? And India is located in sub-_______ Asia? Thank you.
